Update from Iran!

Demonstrationerna på Irans gator fortsätter och flertalet deltagare har misshandlats eller dödats. Folket lever i ständig skräck. Iranska ledare har idag deklarerat att inget nytt val kommer att genomföras. Min iranske vännin har lyckats sända mig ännu ett e-post och berättar att situationen är fruktansvärs, här är hennes ord:
About Iran, using communication facilities like SMS, Internet,... are still limited. I use Anti filters to read news or go to my profile in facebook. A lot of students have been killed and seriously injured during these days. They don't allow people to even WALK together in streets, it doesn't matter who they are, or how old they are, they would have been certainly beaten by especially paramilitary forces. I'm sure you have seen some of miserable scenes of this kind. The state TV which supports the government, doesn't really talk about demonstrations but shows interviews with some people ashamed of what they have done in the streets...! they pretend like these are not people of Iran who rally for their obvious right of knowing the truth about the election. The paramilitary forces are extremely savage, some people think that they are taught to act like this since before to be used in such an occasion. one of my friends who has beaten by one of this forces told me he couldn't speak Persian! He thinks some of them are brought from neighbor countries. I felt terrible hearing
that.the Supreme leader strongly supports the election result, but he gave the guardian council who is responsible to approve the healthof election (election without frauds) 5 more days to work on their investigation. previously they have approved that 3 MILLION votes are found as fraud in the election BUT they think the election result is still accountable...! sounds ridiculous! These two days streets are quieter, I think people are either in shock of innocent peoples' death or resting for continuing the protest after some days.
